Outbound notifications explained and how to setup
MarginPoint 8 outbound notifications allow users to be notified of many events that occur in the software. For example, an inventory manager can arrange to be notified by e-mail whenever inventory level of a particular item any particular location drops below a specified level. The notification process provides many options, but consists of these basic steps:
- Select the events you wish to be notified of from a list of available event types.
- Determine precisely under what conditions you want to be notified by selecting filter criteria.
- Define the message to be delivered from scratch or with the assistance of message templates.
- Define who will receive the notification by marking it private, or by assigning additional users to the notification.
