      8.6 To Configure a Storeroom

      1. At the far left of the home screen, click the Company tab to display the company navigation tree. Picture1-14
      2. In the Company Tree, click the company to which the new inventory location will belong.
      3. In the menu bar, click the Administration drop-down.
      4. Click the Location option in the drop-down.
      5. The Administration > Location > View Location Hierarchy ribbon bar will appear and display all locations in the company.
      6. Click a storeroom location in the hierarchy, then in the ribbon bar, click Configure Bin Map o right-click the storeroom location and click in the Configure Node. Picture11-2
        1. The Location Configuration window will open and Picture12-1display any bins already configured. Edit existing bins by double-clicking them. 
        2. Click the Add icon to add an additional level, then type a name for the level.
        3. Add additional levels as needed.
        4. Use the red X the delete existing levels.
        5. When all required levels have been added and/or removed, click Next.
        6. The Auto Generate Hierarchy window opens, displaying a field for each defined level. Enter the number of each type of level that should be created.

          For example, if you defined row as for the first level and shelf as the next, and there are five shelves in each row, type "5" in the Shelf Count per Row field.Picture13-2

        7. Click Generate. A hierarchy of bins reflecting the numbers you entered will appear on the right side of the window.Add and delete nodes as needed clicking
        8. Add Node and/or Delete Node at the bottom of the page, or by right-clicking nodes and selecting from the drop-down menu.
          9. Click Next. A window appears with a list of available bins on the left and a column for sequenced bins on the right
          1. Drag and drop the bins from the left panel to the right panel. Click on the top row of bin data in the left panel labeled Available Bins and then hold down the left shift key and go to the bottom bin in the same left panel and click on the last bin row.
          2. Now drag and drop the bins in the left panel to the right panel. All bins will need to be moved over to the right panel in order to enable the save button to save the bin configuration.
          3. Click Save to save the location configuration. Picture14-2
