The Equipment Setup menu option allows you to set standard equipment values which can then be used in FieldPlus.
Prior to assigning Equipment to Customer Job Sites standard equipment values will need to be assigned:
- Equipment Warranty - Define warranty duration's that can be assigned to each piece of equipment in FieldPlus
- Equipment Type - Define types of equipment that are sold and serviced. These types are available when creating and editing Job Site equipment. FieldPlus offers a list of default equipment types.
- Equipment Manufacturer - Define manufacturers of equipment that are sold and serviced. These manufacturers are available when creating and editing Job Site equipment. FieldPlus offers a list of default equipment manufacturers.
Add New Equipment Warranty Record
- From the Setup tab, click the Equipment Warranty tile.
- Click the button. A blank record is added to the display.
- Fill in the following information:

- Name
- Description
- Duration Type (Day, Month, Year, Lifetime)
- Duration Value (Length of Warranty based on Type)

4. Click the Save button.
A confirmation message displays briefly:
Add New Equipment Type or Manufacturer
- From the Setup tab, click the Company Codes tile.
- Select Equipment Type from the drop-down selector to view available equipment types.
A default list of equipment types will display. This preset list is managed by FieldPlus and cannot be edited or deleted. - To create a new manufacturer, select the Manufacturers from the drop-down selector. A default list of manufacturers will display. This preset list managed by FieldPlus and cannot be edited or deleted.
- Click the button. A blank record is added to the display.
- Type in the Name and Description of the Equipment Type or Manufacturer.
- Click the Save button.
A Confirmation message displays briefly:
